The Woodlands High School Varsity Girls Lacrosse game on October 2nd 2022
My first lacrosse photo shoot in The Woodlands, Texas. The John Cooper School doesn’t have a lacrosse team yet so Alena joined The Woodlands Girls Lacrosse Association as part of The Woodlands High School varsity team.
The season doesn't start until the 2nd semester but they have conditioning sessions and weekend tournaments this semester to keep the teenage girls in good shape and to form the well-played teams.
Alena played her first tournament with the team on October 1st-2nd 2022 at Alden Bridge Sports Park, sponsored by Hot Sauce. The late morning and early afternoon games were not for the faint-hearted as the temperatures are still in the 90s here in Texas. Both the girls and their parents stoically braved the hot sunny days and really enjoyed the sportsmanship and camaraderie!
