As a high school senior, Carly Brown wanted her senior pictures to be a reflection of her interests and personality. And so, we embarked on a creative journey to create a set of unique and stunning senior portraits that truly represent Carly.
We started with the basketball session to capture Carly's love for the sport. She posed with the ball in action and static shots against a colorful graffiti background and this setting helped her relax and feel at ease.
For the colored smoke, we found a secluded spot where Carly could dance and play freely without any distractions. Of course all safety measures were taken. We used different colored smoke bombs to add a pop of color to the photos and create a whimsical and dreamy atmosphere. Carly's dance surrounded by smoke in front of the historic mansion was bewitching and captured her vibrant spirit perfectly.
Next, we moved to the flower garden, a place where Carly felt most happy and beautiful. The sunlight filtering through the trees and the colorful flowers provided a perfect backdrop for Carly's natural beauty. We experimented with different angles and backdrops to create a variety of looks that captured Carly's spirit and energy.
Finally, we arrived at the old mansion, a place full of history and elegance. Carly looked like a princess in her red dress as she posed against stone walls. We utilized the street lighting and added a strobe to create a moody and dramatic effect that complemented the mansion's ambiance.
