Actor’s Portfolio for Alex
Here’s another brilliant performance by Alex in Sewickley Academy’s senior school musical “Fiddler on the Roof”. If there’s an emotional scene on stage, her face is always the one you look at. Bravo, Alex!
Actor’s Portfolio for Jayne
Jayne is a semi-professional actress already. She’s been involved in PAC and CLO productions and her favorites are Annie Jr. and The Sound of Music. In “Sewickley Academy’s “Fiddler on the Roof’“ she portrays Bielke, so gentle and fragile. Jayne has a beautiful voice and I can’t wait to hear her sing again.
Actor’s Portfolio for Mira
Throughout the years, Mira has played fascinating characters: an asylum patient, a fairy, a loving nun, an intelligent girl, and a teapot. This time she is portraying Tzeitel, the oldest daughter of Tevye (Ibrahim) and there was a hurricane of emotions every time Mira was on stage.
By the way, Mira was voted “Most likely to study before and after the test” in the yearbook. I’m sure this trait was crucial in success on stage and everywhere else.
Actor’s Portfolio for Catherine
Catherine has been involved in eight Sewickley Academy productions, including The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. In “Fiddler on the Roof”, she had a lead role as Golde, the matriarch of the family and her witty and hearty wife and mother of 3 girls character was very relatable.
I was delighted to read her bio where she thanks her mom for “being a superstar and supporting her love of theatre!”
Susan, you did a great job as a mother!
Alena and her photobombing dog
Our dog is a notorious photobomber. When he thinks my daughter and I have spent enough time in my studio, he just lies down in front of the camera and won’t budge. This is a rare occasion when I can actually photograph him in a still position, not running, jumping, barking, or chasing a chipmunk.
Actor’s Portfolio for Ibrahim
I first saw Ibrahim as Jean Passepartout in Around the World in 80 Days earlier that year and his striking acting talents were obvious even for an amaeur theater lover like me.
This time he was given a lead role as Tevye in Sewickley Academy’s “Fiddler on the Roof” and his character was endearingly comic and tragic at the same time.
Actor’s Portfolio for Serena
Serena played Avram and Fruma-Sarah in Sewickley Academy’s “Fiddler on the Roof”. Her complete transformation from a bearded aging man to a scary haunting ghost was striking.
I also secretly suspect her connection with the world of fairies - human girls don’t have hair this beautiful.
Actor’s Portfolio for Connery
This is Connery. It was his third and final year performing in the Sewickley Academy theater program. He’s been involved in The Sound of Music, Guys and Dolls, Beauty and The Beast, and Around the World in 80 Days.
Connery was voted “most likely to end up on Broadway” by his peers in the school yearbook. Godspeed, and see you on Broadway!
Dr UnOrthoDoc - Personal Branding Session for Patrice
“They all came out beautifully. Thank you!!!”
~ Patrice S.
Stephanie’s Portraits for Pilates Studio
Look at this girl and see beyond her outer beauty: see her strong character and her ability to empathize. Stephanie was a Division I volleyball player, and discovered pilates while recovering from a severe lower back injury.
Senior Portraits: a Winter Session
If you ever wondered what the winter scene looks like in senior photos, here are the photos that we took with my daughter on one of the hikes on a snow day. Book your senior session before the beautiful white snow melts!
Kaila and Friends. Mission: Love Always
“Thank you so so much! I’m so happy.” - Khala W.
A photo session with friends... how cool is that? These images are just a small portion of both group and individual shots we did for Khala and her friends.
Mara’s Business Headshots
Mara is the Vice President of a civil engineering firm and an instructor at @clearlypilates. She wanted some portraits to represent her as a business woman and a strong negotiator, as well as honest, reliable and knowledgeable.
Judy’s Pilates Portfolio
Judy is the fittest person I’ve ever met in my entire life. Her breathing rhythm didn’t go up one notch when I asked her to freeze for quite a few minutes in those incredibly hard pilates poses.
Melanie’s Business Portraits
“You did a great job” - Melanie P.
What does it mean to be yourself? Is it just one personality? How many dimensions of ‘yourself’ are there? Which one do you bring forward during your portrait session?
Alena’s Mini Session
“Could we do just a short session, one location and no outfit changes?” Sure! This shoot lasted 30 minutes. The key ingredients were a gorgeous girl and a magical September sunset that appeared from behind the tall trees and lasted just long enough for us to take these portraits.
Actor’s portfolio for Caroline
“Thank you SO much for the beautiful pictures of Caroline. I can honestly say these are the best ones we’ve ever had. You have captured the very essence of her and they are just amazing! “
- Whitney H., mother
Actor’s portfolio for Logan
You should see Logan on stage - it’s a hurricane of emotions and comic energy that keeps the audience entertained throughout the show.
Actor’s portfolio for Alex
“Thank you!!!” - April C., mother
Alex is able to convincingly transform herself into any character - from a glamorous lady from the 1930s to a director of police to an elephant owner. Did I mention she is a dream photography model too?
Actor’s portfolio for Claire
“These are FANTASTIC! You captured some amazing perspectives.“ - Susan C., mother
Actress headshots and onstage action pictures for Claire in the play “War of the Worlds: the Panic Broadcast”. Claire’s femininity and grace captivate the audience from the first moment they see her onstage.
